Venice Biennale


The Venice Biennale started as a large art exhibition that takes place bi-annually in Venice, Italy – It started in 1895 and is still a leading platform for art and design, now, also celebrating architecture, film, dancing and music. The work is cutting edge and inspiring.

The art and architecture Biennale’s alternate so since we are now in 2016 (even numbered year) it is the architecture’s year to shine. The exhibit starts at the end of May and will run until November. The images above are from the 2014 exhibit!

The exhibition this year is entitled: REPORTING FROM THE FRONT, is curated by Alejandro Aravena and organized by La Biennale di Venezia chaired by Paolo Baratta.
