VIP Dinner, Norval Foundation with world-renowned Italian architect Massimo Castagna
The directors of Eurocasa Cape Town, Rossana and Miele hosted a private dinner and talk with visiting world-renowned Italian architect and Rossana creative director Massimo Castagna, on Thursday 8 November 2018. The dinner took place at the Norval Foundation, home to one of the largest private collections of South African contemporary art. This, as well as host to key exhibitions of both local and international artists.
Castagna’s career highlights include one of the world's most iconic and revolutionary contemporary kitchen designs, the K-IN, as well as the Light Ring Chandelier for Henge and the Italian Pyramid, a high-altitude scientific research centre built in Nepal at an altitude of 5050m. Due to health reasons (Castagna) his address was given by Mel Elliott - Visual Artist from Villiersdorp. This was done with typical South African wit and creative content.
The Norval foundation conducted extremely interesting tours of their collection for those present. A delicious Italian dinner was served by the hosts. Valcucine shared their plans for the new store opening on Strand Street next year. Richard Lurie and his team keep up the excellence in events with content and style.
