Our Finnish clients first saw this villa through JMA’s visualisations — and bought it on the strength of those renders. JMA handled the complete interior: spatial planning, all material and finish selections, joinery, lighting and the full fit-out. Every decision was made together.
What followed was a years-long conversation about how they actually wanted to live.
A thread of dark framing runs through the home — the custom internal doors, joinery, dressing room. It holds the spaces together without making them feel the same. The kitchen took shape gradually. After visiting restaurants and absorbing different atmospheres, the clients settled on dark, moody gold-tinted cabinetry against a lighter worktop. It was arrived at, not chosen from a catalogue.
Two upper bedrooms became one master suite. The bathroom was selected tile by tile — dark veined marble, freestanding bath, backlit mirror. The dressing room completes the suite like a jewel box: dark framed glass doors, a lit interior, exactly as the renders showed it from the beginning.That's the bit we're most proud of. Not that it's beautiful — though it is — but that it's exactly what they imagined.
