IN PROGRESS

One of the notable points about this section of work in progress is that most of the images are 3D virtual reality computer renderings from design drawings. This gives a remarkably realistic impression of what the finished project will look like both inside and out. Clients find this technique very helpful. They are able to see their designs and explore the visualisations prior to construction. We work with virtual reality where appropriate and find this expedites client decisions and makes their journey in the design process accessible and valuable We are in the process of updating our current projects. Come back here soon to see more of the projects that we are busy with.

A STONE'S THROW
EDEN COAST DUNE
SOUTHERN DOWNSCALE

A STONE’S THROW, CLIFTON BEACHFRONT BEAUTY

It is a stone’s throw from the water, and at risk of high-water waves. This understated new beach house will have set the bar in terms of rigorous local planning process. Intended to blend in with muted colours and careful endemic planting, the young family hope to finally enjoy their beach house. This will be after a (hard to imagine) length of time and input.

EDEN COAST DUNE TOUCH DOWN

From the soaring heights of an ancient dune we watched a large pod of passing by Dolphins. It’s a magical view. The design conspires against southerly winds. It protects and works around well-established milkwood trees. It has a versatile brief. The spaces live in different directions for seasonal wind and climate. A satisfying project with a great team.

STUNNING SOUTHERN DOWNSCALE

It’s a question of whether one wants to be discovered. Forbes rates the coolest neighbourhood in the world (July’18). Hard to imagine if the Mountain or Sea views win? Perhaps the harbour lights do. Idyllic property. A quiet and (we hope) appropriate home – scale, materials, lifestyle.
